The Avery Project is committed to making a positive impact through its bike donation drives, which bring joy and support to communities in need, especially during the holiday season. Your support helps give children and adults the freedom of reliable transportation and builds real connections in our community.
How it started
The Avery Project began as a heartfelt effort to support children through the hardest stretch of the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past several years it has grown into a real community endeavor that has touched the lives of a lot of young people.
Hundreds of bikes later, those kids have transportation, recreation, and a bit more independence. The bikes stand for hope and resilience, and they get kids moving and spending time together. The project keeps going because a dedicated group of people keeps showing up.

Hello, I'm Avery, and I'm excited to share my journey with The Avery Project. This started when I was just 8 years old, and it has grown into a passion of mine. Knowing the happiness I bring other people is what pushes me to make this bigger and better every year.
