Using this site
By using The Avery Project website you agree to these terms. Please use the site lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or submit false information through our forms.
Bike requests
Submitting a request does not guarantee a bike. We match requests to whatever bikes have been donated, and supply is limited. Bikes are given as is. Please have a qualified shop inspect any bike before regular riding, and always wear a helmet.
Donations
Donations are processed by PayPal and are voluntary and final. Donations support the bike drive directly and are not currently tax deductible. If you believe a donation was made in error, email theaveryproject2022@gmail.com and we will work with you in good faith.
Donated bikes and equipment
When you donate a bike or equipment, you confirm that it is yours to give and that you are transferring it to the project to repair, distribute, or recycle as needed.
Content and liability
Text and photos on this site belong to The Avery Project unless noted otherwise. The site is provided as is, without warranties, and we are not liable for any loss arising from its use or from the use of a donated bike.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the most recent change.
